WHY AN ANNUAL FUND
Education is a matter of the heart.
St. John Bosco, founder of the Salesians
St. Joseph was founded in 1896 to educate the children of Tampa's immigrant families — and 130 years later it serves exactly the same purpose. Our 284 students, EC4/VPK through 8th grade, come predominantly from immigrant families experiencing genuine financial hardship, and they are led down the same path: College and Heaven.
Scholarships bridge the tuition gap. They do not fund the field trips, the stage lights, the athletic season, or the teacher's next certification. The Annual Fund does.

The Annual Fund ensures St. Joseph students and teachers have access to the same experiences and opportunities as their peers attending other Catholic schools in the Tampa Bay area, regardless of the financial challenges and hardships that exist for the families we serve.
Your support exposes St. Joseph students to athletics, the performing arts, field trips, upgraded technology, and health and physical education. It guarantees they are well rounded and nurtured beyond learning in the classroom.
