1. Get to Know Us: Tour of our campus and experience what a day looks like at St. Joseph Catholic School. Our friendly and bilingual office staff is at your service 8am-3pm, Monday thru Friday. You're invited to join us at our Open House on February 3rd, 2019 at our campus.

2. Academic Assessment: We take time to learn about each child's unique gifts and talents to ensure St. Joseph Catholic School is ready to meet the needs of every student. The assessment can be scheduled on the same day as your tour, or you can contact our admissions coordinator or office staff to make other arrangements.On the day off the assessment we also request you bring the previous year's report card, the most current report card, the most recent standardized test results, and any IEP/504 if applicable.
3. Principal Review: Our school principal will carefully review your student’s assessment and other records and make the appropriate recommendations for admission. We will call you to inform you of the results within 3 business days
4. Complete registration materials and financial aid forms (if applicable): We will walk you through the process and answer any of your questions. We look forward to making a Catholic Education possible for your family.
**The Voluntary Prekindergarten Program (VPK) was implemented in 2002 in order to give ALL of Florida's four-year-olds access to a quality prekindergarten educational experience. The VPK program is FREE to families and does not have any income requirements or restrictions.
The Voluntary Prekindergarten Program (VPK) is designed to prepare Florida’s children for kindergarten and develop the skills they need to become good readers and successful students. VPK includes standards for literacy skills, strict accountability, appropriate curricula, substantial instruction periods, manageable class sizes and qualified instructors. The Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County administers the Voluntary Prekindergarten Program at the local level which includes registering child care providers and providing applications and information to parents.
