Hi Families/Hola Familias,
My name is Andrew Watson, and I am the Senior Program Director of the After School program for the Tampa YMCA. It was a pleasure meeting and speaking with you at Meet the Teacher Thursday evening.
The Tampa YMCA has proudly served as an after-care provider across Hillsborough County and is honored to partner with you here at St. Joseph.
- We are excited to provide a safe, fun, and enriching program that offers space for social interaction and disguised learning.
- We are still enrolling children into the after-care program. All children must be registered online and provide the proper information to ensure compliance with state guidelines.
- Unfortunately, we are unable to accept children who are not enrolled.
- We offer financial assistance through our Open Door application, which is attached here.

Dear Parents/ Estimados Padres,
This is a reminder that for Kindergarten to 8th grade, you will have the opportunity to drop off your materials and meet your new teacher on Thursday, August 7 from 5:00-6:30pm.
In addition, we will have tables set up in the cafeteria for questions you have for Coach Dodge, Mrs. Foley, the YMCA afterschool care, Frameworks, West Tampa Little League, and the church. If you visit all the tables in the cafeteria, you will earn two service hours.
We look forward to seeing you then!
Les recordamos que, desde kínder hasta octavo grado, podrán dejar sus materiales y conocer a su nuevo maestro el jueves 7 de agosto de 5:00 p. m. a 6:30 p. m.
Además, tendremos mesas en la cafetería para responder preguntas sobre el entrenador Dodge, la Sra. Foley, el servicio de cuidado extraescolar de la YMCA, Frameworks, West Tampa Little League y la iglesia. Si visitan todas las mesas de la cafetería, obtendrán dos horas de servicio.

We are thrilled with the number of families that have signed up for after school care this year!
The YMCA is having after school care for St. Joseph students at St. Joseph. There is no need for extra transporation. The cost is $60 per week per student.
You must register if you want to participate in after school care this year. The registration fee is free!
If there is anyone that needs assistance, they can call the YMCA at 813-224-9622. They will also have a table at school on August 7 from 5:00pm-7:00pm if you have questions or need help signing up.

Volunteer Opportunities 7/30

Dear Parents / Estimados Padres,
We have a few opportunities for you to get started on service hours as the school year approaches. If you are interested, contact the office and they can get you assigned.
They are:
1. Moving textbooks and tables to classrooms. This requires carrying heavy boxes and moving heavy furniture.
2. Setting up the cafeteria after we finish the renovations.
3. Assisting with lunchroom duty. You need your Safe Environment Training and Level II Background screening to assist here.
