Dear parents/Estimados padres,
The YMCA is excited about the number of families that have already enrolled for after school care this year, but we wanted to clear up a couple of confusing points.
- The after school program will be at St. Joseph. The YMCA will come to St. Joseph. There will be no need to transport students to a second site.
- The cost is $60 per week per student. There is no registration fee at this time.
La YMCA está entusiasmada con la cantidad de familias que ya se han inscrito para el programa de cuidado extraescolar este año, pero queríamos aclarar un par de puntos confusos.
- El programa extraescolar se realizará en St. Joseph. La YMCA irá a St. Joseph. No será necesario transportar a los estudiantes a otra sede.
- El costo es de $60 por semana por estudiante. No hay cuota de inscripción por el momento.

We are getting closer to the beginning of the school year and are excited to welcome you back in a few weeks!
As you prepare for school, we would like to let you know that all students from Kindergarten to 8th grade will have PE twice a week. That means that they will need their regular uniform three times a week and PE uniform twice.
Uniforms are available for purchase at Risse Brothers at 4228 N Armenia Ave or there are used uniforms available in the school office.
Nos acercamos al inicio del año escolar y nos emociona darles la bienvenida de nuevo en unas semanas.
Mientras se preparan para la escuela, les informamos que todos los estudiantes, desde kínder hasta octavo grado, tendrán educación física dos veces por semana. Esto significa que necesitarán su uniforme regular tres veces por semana y el uniforme de educación física dos veces.
Los uniformes están disponibles para comprar en Risse Brothers en 4228 N Armenia Ave o hay uniformes usados disponibles en la oficina de la escuela.

We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with the YMCA to provide afterschool care until 6:00pm for the 2025-26 school year.
The schedule is comprised of an open ceremony/attendance, free snack, STEAM projects, arts & crafts, study hall with homework assistance, physical fitness, centers, service learning and FUN.
The YMCA has offered to waive the registration fee for the time being, so please sign up if you are interested!

Today, May 23, we sent home envelopes containing information including supply lists, summer work, uniform information, and standardized test scores.
However, if you still owe a balance for tuition, lunch, or afterschool care, the envelope will be held in the office until your balance has been paid. Please call or stop by to pay off any outstanding balances.
Hoy, 23 de mayo, enviamos a casa sobres que contienen información que incluye listas de útiles, trabajo de verano, información sobre uniformes y puntajes de exámenes estandarizados.

As a reminder, for our big fundraiser this year, St. Joseph is having our 5th Annual Spring Drawing. We are asking each family to sell four (4) tickets for $25 each.
Parents will receive one service hour for every four tickets sold.
