Dear Parents/Queridos Padres,

Thank you for your interest in purchasing tickets for the Ford Lariat Drawing for May 1st. Tickets continue to be available in the office by request but are going fast!

There are rewards for students that sell drawing tickets.

1. 1. Students receive a free dress pass for every 5 tickets they sell.
   2. The class that sells the most tickets will earn an ice cream party.

So far the class leaders are:

1. 1. 5th Grade
   2. Miss Baker's Kindergarten
   3. 2nd Grade
   4. 4th Grade
   5. 1st Grade
   6. 3rd Grade
   7. 6th Grade
   8. 7th Grade
   9. 8th Grade

   11. Mrs. Farrell Kindergarten
   12. Ms. Wendy VPK

Families will receive one service hour for every four tickets sold. Tickets are available in the school office.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your help in putting together a tremendously successful 125^th Anniversary Gala.

Without your time, donations, and hard work, the Gala would not have been the success that it was. Thank you so much.

Now we prepare for our May 1^st Feast of St. Joseph the Worker Family Celebration for you. As part of that event, we will be raffling a 2022 Ford Ranger Lariat. If you would like to purchase or sell raffle tickets, please let us know and we will send them home. You can earn one Parent Service Hours for every $100 of raffle tickets sold.

Desde el fondo de mi corazón, muchas gracias por su ayuda para organizar una Gala del 125 Aniversario tremendamente exitosa.

Con su tiempo, donaciones y arduo trabajo, la Gala no hubiera sido el éxito que fue. Muchissimas gracias.

Lenten Renovation Service Day

On March 5, 2022, St. Joseph School and Church are hosting a Lenten Renovation Service Day.

We are looking for any volunteers capable of helping in whatever way they can.  The work hours will be from 7:30am to 4:30pm. Come for as much or as little as you can. We welcome any volunteers to help clean, paint, and fix our school campus.

All family members that attend and help out will get Parent Service hours.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

El 5 de marzo de 2022, la escuela y la iglesia de St. Joseph organizarán un Día de Servicio en el Campus.

Estamos buscando voluntarios capaces de ayudar en todo lo que puedan. El horario de trabajo será de 7:30 am a 4:30 pm. Ven por tanto o tan poco como puedas. Damos la bienvenida a cualquier voluntario para ayudar a limpiar, pintar y arreglar nuestro campus escolar.

Todos los miembros de la familia que asistan y ayuden obtendrán horas de Servicio para Padres. 

Se proveerá desayuno y almuerzo.

125th Anniversary Baskets

On March 19, St. Joseph is hosting a series of celebrations to commemorate the 125^th Anniversary of our school. One of those celebrations is a silent auction.

We are asking each class to prepare a basket for the auction. Many of you have already begun donating items, and we will continue to accept donations until February 18.  These are the themes for the baskets:

VPK: Basket for Dad

Miss Baker Kindergarten: Chocolate Enthusiasts

Mrs. Farrell Kindergarten: Kitchen Essentials

1^st Grade: Coffee Lovers

2^nd Grade: Playing the Lottery

3^rd Grade: Date Night

4^th Grade: Grilling and Barbecue Fun

5^th Grade: Family Fun Night

6^th Grade: Basket for Mom

7^th Grade: Disney Experience

8^th Grade: Sports Fanatics

Please contact your homeroom teacher for more details about their class basket. Include your receipt with the donation to get credit for service hours.

El 19 de marzo, St. Joseph realizará una serie de celebraciones para conmemorar el 125.° aniversario de nuestra escuela. Una de esas celebraciones es una subasta silenciosa.

IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!

DECEMBER 14^TH, 6:30 PM, WE TAKE THE STAGE FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE BEFORE COVID!  HERE ARE SOME ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS:

• YES, THE SHOW IS IN THE CHURCH.
• THE STUDENTS NEED TO BE IN THE CLASSROOMS BY 6:15 P.M.  SO THAT WE CAN BEGIN ON TIME.
• STUDENTS MAY WEAR DRESS SHOES, SCHOOL SHOES, OR SNEAKERS. NO FLIP FLOPS, PLEASE.
• YOU MAY PICK UP YOUR CHILD IN THE CLASSROOM AFTER THE SHOW.
• YES, 6^TH AND 7^TH ARE INVOLVED IN THE SHOW; THEY ARE THE PRODUCTION CREW (BEHIND THE SCENES). IT TAKES A TEAM TO PUT ON A SHOW, AND WE NEED ALL HANDS ON DECK. 6^TH AND 7^TH GRADERS WEAR BLACK SHIRTS OR SWEATSHIRTS AND JEANS OR BLACK PANTS. THIS IS THE “UNIFORM” FOR THE PRODUCTION CREW.
• YES, 8^TH GRADE WILL BE STAGING THE NATIVITY AT THE END OF THE PLAY, AND EVERYONE IS INVOLVED.

WHO MAY ATTEND THE SHOW? 

EACH STUDENT WILL RECEIVE TWO TICKETS FOR FAMILY MEMBERS.  SEATING IS LIMITED DUE TO COVID PROTOCOL.

THE SHOW WILL BE STREAMED FOR FAMILY MEMBERS THAT DO NOT ATTEND.
